BioConneXions develops sophisticated medical devices to improve the care of mothers and their unborn children. 

BCX’s first product, a non-invasive fetal heart monitor, will radically improve the level of care by providing previously unavailable information on the fetus.  The fetal heart monitor technology derives from an exclusive license to an extraordinary dual-use technology from the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab.  Johns Hopkins physicians are leading research efforts while PPI develops the device itself and PPI Ventures spearheads the financing and commercialization of the device.
