Miniaturized Personal Identification and Authentication Device
Personal identification has thus far been limited to either simple applications such as cards, papers or passcodes, or to sophisticated apparatuses that are too specialized and expensive to be applied to more than a limited area. These sophisticated systems are able to use means that reduce error and identity theft to a negligible degree. Privaris has created a tiny device designed to fit on a key chain or identity badge that is capable of bringing this level of security to any system. The BPID is capable of scanning and storing fingerprints as well as other biometric data then using a wireless connection to transmit this data for authentication. These transmissions are encrypted for an enhanced layer of security.
PPI Ventures has brought the full resources of its management and marketing specialists as well as the design expertise of PPI to bear on Privaris’ important advancement. The BPID design has been miniaturized and refined. The applications have been reviewed, and the markets are being tapped. PPI Ventures is confident that Privaris has created the new standard for personal identification.
Next Generation Security for Every System Imaginable
Using simple Bluetooth and wireless technology, the BPID can communicate with any modern computer terminal. By locking transmission until a fingerprint scan is input and verified, one can be assured of a virtually error-free authentication. This streamlined device can be used anywhere that verification software is installed. Whether logging into an everyday office network or going through an airport security checkpoint, proper identification can be cheaply and safely assured.
