One of the greatest challenges of electrical infrastructure has been in determining the condition and effectiveness of power lines leading from substations to end users. Most contemporary solutions involve expensive systems or old-tech devices with unacceptable error margins and failure rates. Airak, Inc. of Ashburn, Virgina has developed a means to record and track the flow of electrical current along these connections that is durable, safe and cost effective.

PPI Ventures has been approached to aid in the market development and industry exposure of this remarkable new advance in utility management. Under our guidance, we hope to distribute Airak’s ODMS to major electric utility companies while seeking further applications of the system and its technology.

An Effective Solution to One of the Industry’s Greatest Challenges

The Airak ODMS will allow electric companies to determine which power lines are experiencing heavy strain and which lines are being underutilized. This will allow a more efficient and cheap means of maintaining and upgrading a regional power grid. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the equipment itself may be applicable to many other industries as it deals with precise measurements of high energy systems.
