Overview
“Do something”. This is what Professor Robert J. Bies of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business challenges leaders to do.
To effectively serve others in a leadership capacity, one must first start with self leadership. One must be the change, discipline and results one wishes to see in the world.
Once this has occurred the next vital phase of leadership is in maximizing the potential of those around you. The mark of an effective leader is in their ability to inspire a life of moral leadership in others. To live a life of moral leadership, one makes a commitment and sets an example to the community and the world.
In an effort to “do something” while integrating leadership and innovation , PPI created and continues to develop an outreach initiative titled “Innovation in Practice Experience”. Through this initiative, PPI hopes to inspire next generation leaders in innovation and motivate youth to pursue professions in science, technology and design. |
