Client created a fingerprint biometric sensor with innovative solutions to avoid sensor errors and false positive readings. PPI was approached to create a direct application for this technology. The result is a biometric electronic lockset for use to secure access to ATMs, lockboxes and safes. This creates more sophisticated and reliable security and replaces the need for additional or arbitrary access measures such as keys or PINs. The lockset is built to be rugged, environmentally resistant and aesthetically consistent with the original biometric sensor design.
