PCR Product Manufacturing System
PPI designed and manufactured a series of fritt formation and installation systems for use by a Biotech client with requirement for rapid growth in production capacity. These systems provided fritt formation and installation, with repeatable, controllable position and depth. The line of tools has been in use for 10+ years, with well over 5 million units manufactured.
Challenges included design for medical clean room environment, extremely close tolerances, and complex mechanisms.
