PPI designed and manufactured an extremely rugged housing package, for an embedded computer platform capable of monitoring activity in remote areas and automatically reporting relevant information back to the user. The system also records and transmits IR and visual imaging through an integrated camera and sensor package. Typical uses include border and facility monitoring, battlefield situation awareness and remote area activity surveillance. The system can detect vehicles, personnel, aircraft or motorized vehicles. The finished product is environmentally sealed for air transport, direct burial, and immersion in water. Its custom injection-molded plastic case is light weight, corrosion resistant and carries a low magnetic signature.
