PPI is honored with MAPAVI’s Entrepreneur Award 2007 presented by Congressman Tom Davis

 On October 13, 2007 Congressman Tom Davis and Rev. José E. Hoyos presented PPI with MAPAVI’s Entrepreneur Award 2007. In summary, PPI was recognized because of the “passion and inspiration” displayed in the desire to help others suceed.
Founded in 1992 by Rev. José E. Hoyos and a small team of volunteers, MAPAVI’s mission is “to awaken in all members of society the desire to serve our neighbors and practice basic values such as solidarity, responsibility and generosity”. To accomplish this, MAPAVI partners with organizations such as NIH to provide healthcare to patients needing critical operations such as organ transplants.
